Kashmir has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I had seen so many pictures of Kashmir’s natural beauty, and I always wished to see and experience this beauty firsthand, but nothing could replace the actual experience of being there. So, when I decided to go on a trip to Kashmir, the first thing that came to my mind was to find the best travel agencies that could provide a comfortable vacation with great assistance. Thus, I decided to choose Kashi Raj Tour and Travel Agency for my Kashmir tour from Varanasi.
Varanasi to Kashmir tour via Srinagar, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg was a 4n/5d trip. Everything, from the arrangements to the return from Kashmir,s was something I will never forget.
Starting Our Kashmir Journey from Varanasi
Our Kashmir tour started from Varanasi. As my tour was organised by Kashi Raj Tour, I felt it was a great relief. I did not have to think about all the details of the trip. Everything was well organised, so that I could enjoy the travel.
Our journey to Kashmir was full of enthusiasm since the moment we left Varanasi. We had been looking forward to going there for a long time, and it was a great pleasure to finally leave Varanasi and head to Kashmir.
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar and the Magic of Dal Lake
Our first day introduced us to the charm of Srinagar. After some rest, we explored the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, and Chashme Shahi. The beautiful terraces, fountains, greenery, and mountain views made the experience peaceful and refreshing.
The highlight was our Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Sitting on the calm waters and watching the surrounding Himalayan landscape was one of my favourite moments of the entire Kashmir trip from Varanasi. The evening atmosphere made the experience even more memorable.
Day 2: Experiencing the Beauty of Sonamarg
After having breakfast on the second day, we went for a tour to experience the beauty of Sonamarg, which is also called as the Meadow of Gold. It was indeed a pleasure to travel through the mountain and riverside route on our way to Sonamarg.
Sonamarg was indeed a place of mesmerising beauty. The surrounding beauty of snow-covered mountains and open landscapes was an ideal place for nature lovers and for an avid photographer like me. The place also had the option of horse riding on Thajiwas Glacier on a direct payment basis.
After exploring the beauty of Sonamarg, we went back to Srinagar in the evening. The ride back to Srinagar was as pleasant as the one we took on the morning of the next day.
Day 3: A Peaceful Day in Pahalgam
On the third day, we reached Pahalgam. As we were driving down from Srinagar, the view was simply amazing, and the beauty of the place was overwhelming. It was a sheer contrast to the valley we saw earlier.
Pahalgam was my favourite place on the trip. It was a good place to relax, being surrounded by nature. The beauty of the meadows, hills and silence of the place made me fall in love with the place. We also had the option to go on a direct payment basis to Betab Valley, Chandanwari and Aru Valley.
Day 4: The Thrilling Gulmarg Gondola Experience
Our fourth day was devoted to exploring Gulmarg or the Meadow of Flowers. One of the reasons why I wanted to come here was the spectacular landscape and the wonderful Gondola ride.
I had lots of fun on the Gondola, as it offered the best views of the mountains and valleys below. Taking photos from the Gondola was a real treat!
Day 5: Returning Home with Wonderful Memories
On the last day, we were all set to reach Srinagar Airport for our return trip to Varanasi. It was indeed heartbreaking to leave Kashmir, as the place had simply amazed us all with its beauty.
Looking back, my Kashmir tour package experience with Kashi Raj Tour from Varanasi was truly mesmerising. Be it the serene Shikara boat rides in Dal Lake or the snow-clad beauty of Sonamarg or the breathtaking valley view in Pahalgam, or the Gondola ride in Gulmarg, everything was just perfect.
My Kashmir tour package from Varanasi was well planned and well managed so beautifully that not a single bit of travel stress was involved. I returned to my city, Varanasi, with a heart full of wonderful memories and loads of pictures, along with an immense wish to visit Kashmir again!
