Our Memorable Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj Tour Experience

Our five-day tour in Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj was one of the most amazing experiences for us. We wanted to visit the most revered places in Uttar Pradesh and have a soulful experience in Kashi, as well as explore the spiritual legacy of Ayodhya and Prayagraj.

However, with the help of Kashi Raj Tour and Travel Agency, we were able to comfortably enjoy visiting these holy cities and had a well-planned itinerary for our tour.

Day 1: Beginning Our Journey in Varanasi

Our tour began with our arrival at Varanasi Airport, where we were picked up and transferred to our hotel, where we spent the night after freshening up. Our tour guide showed us around Varanasi for the day.

We started our day by exploring some of the city’s most famous temples. We visited New Vishwanath Temple at BHU, Sankat Mochan Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Durga Mandir, and Tridev Temple. Each of them was unique, and we learned a thing or two about the religious significance of each.

Evening Ganga Aarti at the Main Ghat was the icing on the cake of our first day. We also went for a boat ride on the Ganga, and we paid for it ourselves, which was exciting since we got to witness the Ganga Aarti from the boat.

Day 2: Kashi Vishwanath Darshan and Sarnath

We had a holy dip in the Ganga on our second day and went for Kashi Vishwanath Temple darshan. We also visited Annapurna Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple. Getting a chance to visit these holy places was one of the main reasons for us to plan this tour.

We left for Sarnath after having our breakfast. The place was entirely different from what we saw in the busy streets and ghats of Varanasi. We explored Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Jain Temple, Buddha Temple, Sarnath Museum, Ashok Pillar, and Deer Park.

Getting to know the historical significance of Sarnath related to Lord Buddha was indeed special for us. Later, we visited a silk viewing centre where we saw the speciality of silk products and the silk industry of Varanasi.

Day 3: Varanasi to Ayodhya

After having an early breakfast, we left Varanasi for Ayodhya. Reaching another major spiritual centre after Kashi was an altogether different experience for us.

We first paid our respects at the Saryu River in Ayodhya, and later visited Hanuman Garhi and Ram Janam Bhumi, which were the most memorable destinations for us during our visit.

Kanak Bhawan, Ramkot, Swarg Dwar, Treta Ke Thakur and Nageswarnath Temple were also explored by us to gain a deep insight into the religious importance of Ayodhya.

Day 4: Ayodhya to Prayagraj and Varanasi

The next morning, after having breakfast, we started for Prayagraj from Ayodhya. The place that we wanted to visit first was the Triveni Sangam, which is the confluence point of Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical river Saraswati.

It was truly an enlightening and pious experience for us to take a holy dip in the Sangam. After that, we visited Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhawan, Alopi Devi Temple, and Veni Madhav Temple one after another. We had a keen interest in exploring the historical places of Prayagraj apart from religious places.

After exploring all those mesmerising places, we started returning towards Varanasi.

Day 5: Departure from Varanasi

On the last day of our tour, we had breakfast and got ready to depart. We were dropped back at Varanasi Airport for our connecting flight to our next home.

As we recap the tour that we had on our last day, we felt that our tour was a complete blessing, giving us much more than sightseeing. Our time spent at the holy banks of Ganga, Kashi Vishwanath Darshan, witnessing Sarnath’s ancient past, exploring the holy places of Ayodhya, and spending time at Triveni Sangam were all precious memories that will always live with us.

In fact, our Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj tour was an incredible spiritual and cultural experience, as we started in Varanasi and visited three of Uttar Pradesh’s most significant pilgrimage sites. As a result, we were able to experience a variety of exciting activities and return home with fond memories and a wealth of valuable experiences.

The tour with Kashi Raj Tour and Travel Agency was an experience that allowed us to have a stress-free holiday while enjoying every moment of our five-day tour.
